This is my final draft of my contents page of my music magazine. I decided to stay with the fire on the top and bottom of the page, as it created a really good and powerful effect and really stands out on the page.
I chose to have a full sized, wide shot image of one artist as a main image and just like this one, on my final contents page, I want the images and text to overlap the main image. I stuck to the main colour of red, and again decided to clutter the page, making it appeal even more to my target audience. I made sure the images on this page were all brightly coloured, as I think it would be of interest of the target audience and makes them want to read on.
I included the competition on here and made sure that it stood out of the page, by adding bright colours around it, and made the text itself bold and brightly coloured. I did so it would really catch the eye of the reader, hooking them to that particular section, making them share an interest to the actual competition itself.
All the images around the contents page are at a slight angle. This was a unique thing to include on this page, as looking through my chosen genres of music magazines all the images seem to be on a flat angle, not giving it the same vibe and twist as this one.
Overall I would like my final contents page to look like this one, with a few minor changes, like the main image pose and maybe a different, more eye catching font. But I would like to keep the layout the same and the pictures going down the right hand side, as well as the angle of the images.
